Swimming Lessons at Acadia

As an Affiliate Member of the Lifesaving Society, here at Acadia Pool we offer the Lifesaving Society's exciting Swim for Life program! With a variety of levels and our fantastic instructors we're able to teach your children how to swim in a safe, fun, and dynamic environment!

The Swim for Life program is the Lifesaving Society’s learn-to-swim program that develops solid swimming strokes and skills. We incorporate valuable Water Smart® education that will last a lifetime. Based on the internationally recognized Swim to Survive standard and aligned
with the Sport for Life model, the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life Program focuses on
basic survival skills and proper swimming technique – fun from day one! Swim for Life starts by developing strong foundational and personal self-rescue skills, then continues on by challenging swimmers to develop stronger swimming strokes. Success oriented and fun for the entire family, there is something for everyone in the Swim for Life program.

To register for swimming lessons, first determine the appropriate swim level. If unsure, refer to the program descriptions or your swimmer’s most recent final progress report card.  Next, refer to the days and times of a particular class or level on the lesson availability chart.
